HELPING YOU "WALK-RITE" ONE STEP AT A TIME

How Orthotics Work:

Orthotics use a wedge between the ground and your foot to provide support and improve foot, ankle, and knee functions.
The better our feet and legs function as we walk and stand, the less stress, irritation, and inflammation on the tissues.
Decreased stress on the tissues reduces swelling, pain, and disability in the nerves, tendons, muscles and joints as we walk and stand.

The change in forces as you walk and stand, with a wedge between you and the ground, causes you to stand up straighter with less pain and disability. Postural changes observed with sufficient angular correction have many medical benefits.
Improved alignment and function, better posture, decreased inflammation, and less pain are the results of wearing custom arch supports.

WHAT IS A PRONATED FOOT?

Pronation is the inward (medial) roll of the foot, and in particular the heel and arch,

which occurs naturally at the heel strike as a cushioning mechanism.

Overpronation is when the feet roll inward excessively. A pronator's outer soles wear

down along the inside of the ball of the foot and they tend to have flat feet.

WHAT IS A SUPINATED FOOT?

Supination, also known as underpronation, is the opposite to pronation where the feet

don't roll inward enough. Wearing the wrong type of shoe will lead to painful shins

  and joints, or even injury.

The supinator's outer soles wear down along the outer edge and their feet tend to

have high arches. Shoes are designed with features to control these problems.
